Bathroom

When Mel approached Esme opened her arms wide to the other female, circling them around the brunette protectively. What she said brought a wide smile to Esme's face as she buried her face in the brown locks.
"I'm glad, no one deserves what you've gone through. I want to try and make things better for you Mel, I really do."
She spoke in a soft and serious tone, her hand grabbing onto Mel's and holding it tenderly. Lifting it up she softly kissed her fingers and the back of her hand.

Melinoe tilted her head to the side some and gave a somewhat sad smile "Why? I've killed a lot of people. They're food..." She laced her fingers together with Esme. "If regular crocodiles deserve it...Why don't I? I'm a crocodile in a human costume." That's really how Melinoe felt about herself. People killed crocodiles all the time for eating people, so shouldn't Melinoe be treated the same?

Esme shook her head, the smile never fading as she went on.
"You're no animal Mel, you're just different. No animal deserves to be treated poorly, even if they hurt others. It's how they defend themselves, it's how they know to survive. You're changing Mel I can see that, the first time I met you you looked so miserable, you're eyes were so dark. But now they aren't...you're human Mel."
She kissed the side of Mel's face, holding onto her hand tighter.

Melinoe stared at Esme with a somewhat shocked expression, her eyes tearing up some before they finally spilled over. "Humans...Humans don't eat other humans...They don't look like this." She pointed to her face as her eyes slitted and turned golden; her teeth sharpening enough to stick between her lips as her jaw extended slightly.

Esme reached up to brush her tears away, holding her tighter to her.
"Mel don't cry, it's going to be okay. Look at me."
She was gentle lifting up her face, looking her dead center in the eyes.
"I love you, no matter what you look like, no matter what you eat, no matter even if you kill people. I love you, I love you."
She softly kissed Mel's cheeks as she spoke those three beautiful words twice.

Melinoe's jaw and teeth slowly shifted back to normal but her eyes stayed the same. She took her hand from Esme's, lifting both of them to take the woman's face in her hands. "Yeah...?" She leaned forward and pressed her lips tightly but gently against Esme's, moving back briefly to mumble lightly, "I love you too." She pressed their lips together again.

Esme nodded firmly when Mel asked for reassurance, returning the kisses happily. Mel was misunderstood, people killed other people all the time, heck some even did eat other people. Esme could see Mel beginning to change, something different was coming out in her. She held the taller female close to her, letting her fingers slide through her still wet hair.

Melinoe sighed some in the kiss, her hands still holding Esme's face close to her own. She stuck her tongue out to lick along the woman's bottom lip. She wasn't looking for anything more than a passionate kiss though, hoping to draw comfort from it.

Esme quickly complied by opening her lips, meeting Mel's tongue and moving it slowly around. Her hands held firm to the back of her head and around her waist, keeping her close and never breaking the kiss. Slowly she twined her fingers into the brown strands of hair, pulling slowly and smoothly through them. It proved soothing for her, she hoped it worked for Mel too.

Melinoe's eyes closed up as Esme's tongue met with her own. She tilted her head to the side some to deepen the kiss as she played with Esme's tongue. Her hands slowly slid from Esme's face so that her arms wrapped gently around the woman's neck.

A smile formed on her lips as Mel wrapped her arms around her neck, how own hands at her hips to pull her closer. Esme could feel Mel relaxing, herself as well. She wanted to give Mel happiness, the happiness she had but Mel never truly got. She wanted to share it with Mel, give it to her and see her smile everyday.

Melinoe hummed slightly into their kiss as she felt herself being pulled closer. Slowly she pulled her tongue away from Esme's, her eyes opening back up as she looked at the woman with her reptilian eyes, but they were different than usual, they were rather warm and welcoming. She leaned forward and placed a light kiss to Esme's lips once more.

Mel pulled away, her golden eyes warm and welcoming instead of the cold Esme had seen before. The crusnik returned the kiss, one hand moving to the side of Mel's face. A bright smile passed over her face as she brushed her cheek with the side of her thumb.
"I love you, I always will."
She spoke softly and sweetly, but put emphasis on what she was saying to drive the point home, If she stayed human or if she became a beast Esme would always have a place in her heart for Mel. Now and forever.

"I love you too..." Melinoe's voice almost came out as a whimper as she leaned forward to nuzzle her face into the crook of Esme's neck. She placed a few light kisses against the skin where her face hid and whimpered the words again while closing her eyes. She didn't want to let go of Esme. It had been a very long time since someone treated her like this, and since someone made her feel like this.

Esme's eyes closed slowly, tilting her head so Mel had better access to the sensitive skin. She held Me tightly, whispering sweet nothings to her as she brushed her fingers through her hair again. It had been a long time since someone was like this around Esme, and she had full intent on making Mel happy. She kissed Mel's hair, burying her nose in it and inhaling softly.

Melinoe paused in her actions and leaned back slightly to look at the mark that she had left on the skin earlier. She leaned down and pressed her lips to it lovingly before slowly straightening up to look at the woman's face, brushing her fingers over it. "So...Where do you want to go for our date?"

Esme blushed when Mel kissed the hickey on her neck, the sensitive skin sending a shiver down her back. She smiled and took hold of Mel's hand pushing it against her cheek.
"I don't care, anywhere at all as long as we're together."
She kissed Mel's palm softly, nuzzling the side of her face into it afterward.

"Come on...Help me pick." Melinoe purred the words slightly and pressed her lips to Esme's hickey again as if in persuasion. She giggled slightly when Esme kissed her hand and nuzzled it.

A soft groan came from Esme's lip's as she blushed softly.
"H-hey, no fair."
She whined laughing softly. With a smile she brushed her hand over Mel's thigh as a come back.
"How about dinner? Somewhere nice and quiet."

Melinoe's face immediately heated up and she gasped before biting her lip, placing a hand over the top of Esme's. "L-like...A picnic or something?"

Esme smiled, lacing their fingers together with a blush of her own.
"Yeah, that sounds wonderful Mel."
She leaned up and kissed the hickey she left on her, smirking evilly.
"Payback."
She giggled softly, nuzzling her cheek to Mel's warmly.

Melinoe shivered slightly before whimpering some. "I thought you already got that when you touched me before." She shifted slightly before smiling softly. "When do you wanna do that?"

"How about this Saturday? I'll be going to my exhibition on Sunday and I want to have plenty of time for you."
She held Melinoe securely around her waist, kissing her cheek warmly and speaking softly into her ear.
"How does that sound?"
It was getting dark outside, Esme beginning to feel tired with all of today's events.

"Saturday?" Melinoe smiled softly, "Sounds good." Her ams wrapped around Esme's neck again as the woman held onto her, blushing softly again as she whispered into her ear. She gave a small nod to reinforce what she had said before.

Esme smiled widely, smashing her lips to Mel's for a split second before pulling away and laughing.
"Great! I can't wait!"
Suddenly her face dropped, thinking back to her art exhibition this weekend. She looked up at Mel, brushing her hair back behind her ear.
"If this had happened sooner I would have invited you as my special guest and not my friend Reino, I'm sorry Mel had I known.."
She trailed off, biting her lip softly.
