Wild Lake

"Wha-?"
Was all she could get out before Drina pulled her to her feet. She grabbed her book before it fell and quickly put it back before she lost it.
"Okay."
She replied and followed Drina, curious to where she could be taking her now. Wherever it was, she just hoped it wasn't crawling with creatures.

Drina had lead Kira back to the lake once more. It was really the only place she could think of to bring her to. Carefully she let go of the woman's hand and looked down towards the ground with a frown plastered on her face. "I'm sorry, Kira..." She turned her back towards the woman and rubbed her neck some as she waited for Kira to get ready to bathe.

"Why are you sorry?"
The mage looked confused, what did she have to apologize for? She removed the heavy object on her back and set it on the ground along with her bag.
"You have nothing to apologize for Drina, you couldn't have known what would have happened back there."
She slipped behind a bush to undress.

"Heh..." Drina didn't really respond to Akira's words, but when she heard the woman move behind the bush she knew what she was doing and undressed herself before slipping quietly into the water of the lake and moving further out. Even if she couldn't have known...She had put Kira in danger. She was supposed to be protecting the woman, not causing her harm.

Drina seemed upset, she probably thought she had put Kira in danger like that. It wasn't her fault, it really wasn't. She heard the water move, Drina slipping in before her. She twisted her hair into a loose bun on the back of her head to keep it out of her face. She walked around the bush into the water farther away from Drina, watching her from the corner of her eyes.

Drina wandered around in the water, but her ears laid back flat on her head. It always felt strange to her...Her nine tails being wet seemed to irritate and frustrate her since they became heavy. There wasn't much she could do about it though, and so she simply moved about and played around some, lifting water in her hands every now and again to watch it fall back into the lake where it belonged. She didn't even glance once towards Kira.

Drina seemed to not be enjoying herself, ears flat against her head were an obvious sign. She began filtering the water through her hands and Kira sat in the water up to her neck. It was calm now, the sun going down slowly. Kira turned back to look at Drina, and slowly began moving through the water toward her, trying not to make so much noise.

Drina made to life one of her tails which immediately began to drip heavy amounts of water back into the lake before awkwardly splashing back into the water from being so heavy which earned a frustrated noise from the shinobi. She really disliked being in the water much, but she knew that baths were necessary, and that's why she did it. Her ears flattened down even more as she continued filtering the water.

Drina tried to lift one of her tails only to have it drop back into the water, earning a growl from the fox shinobi. Kira was quiet in her approach, making sure Drina didn't notice her. Best not to let a shinobi know you were coming up behind them. Her tails became a problem when she got close, but she remained far enough above water not to really disturb them. Kira moved forward and wrapped her arms around Drina's waist like she had done when the men dragged their friend away.
"It wasn't your fault Drina."

Drina jumped suddenly as she felt arms wrap around her waist, and while she was nearly ready to do something about it the voice caught her attention. "K-K-Kira!" She blushed ever-so-slightly and squirmed about while the woman held her waist. "What are you doing?" Being snuck up on wasn't something that Drina was used to, and it really had scared her quiet a bit.

Kira rested her head against Drina's back, closing her eyes with a soft blush.
"This worked on me before, I thought it'd work for you too. I didn't mean to scare you so badly."
Her arms held Drina firmly but not too hard, just enough to know she was comforting her. Before Drina had kissed her head, but she couldn't really reach so she settled for Drina's shoulder.
