Bathroom

Melinoe walked into the bathroom and flipped the lights on, walking over to get two towels ready; setting them on the edge of the bath. She leaned over to turn the water on, feeling it to see if it was at a proper temperature and then adjusting accordingly.

With a smile she slipped into the bathroom, winding her arms around Mel and placing her head between her shoulder blades. A soft kiss was placed on the back of her head.
"Thank you."
She said in a warm voice, rubbing her cheek into Mel's soft hair. Esme hugged Mel tight, picking her up for a second.

Melinoe nearly jumped as Esme's arms went around her, but she smiled and leaned back against her some. "You're welcome." She squeaked slightly when Esme picked her up before giggling a bit and reaching down to turn the water off. "There."

Putting the female back on her feet and freeing her from her hold, Esme bent down and stuck her hand in the water. A smile crossed her lips as she sat back up.
"Perfect."
She smiled at Mel, gesturing to the tub.
"After you."

Melinoe smiled softly at Esme "I'm glad..." Her voice was rather soft, and when she was told to get in first she turned to sit on the edge a moment, looking up at Esme with a smile before slipping in, there being plenty of room for the both of them. She reached out towards Esme with open arms.

Mel slipped into the warm water first, holding out her arms for Esme afterward. With a smiled Esme slid in, sighing contently as the warm water enveloped her. She sat forward into Mel's arms, holding her against her body with a smile.
"This feels good."

"Yeah, it does..." Melinoe nuzzled Esme's neck before laying her head back against the black pad, her arms having wrapped around the woman's body. "I have to say...Taking a bath with someone else is a lot better than taking one alone." Her voice held a bit of a purr to it as she spoke in a happy tone.

"It does feel better to have someone else here. It's a lot less lonely."
Esme placed a soft kiss on Mel's lips, smiling as she sank into the warm water. All the muscles in her body relaxed, she felt so calm. Smiling she moved her hands to the Mel's sides and began to move her fingers all across her sides in an attempt to find where she was ticklish.

"Yeah..." Melinoe mumbled the word while returning the light kiss. She was beginning to relax, but suddenly something made her jump with a light squeak. Esme's fingers were running up and down her side, and it made her blush while squirming around slightly, biting her lip some to keep from laughing at certain points. "Wh-what are you doing!?"

Mel jumped trying not to laugh, making Esme smile and keep her fingers moving for a little longer. She stopped and caught Mel's face in her hands with a smirk.
"I wanted to hear you laugh."
She tilted Mel's head down to kiss her forehead, before moving down and getting her hair wet. With soft sigh she at back up, running her hand over her forehead to keep water out of her eyes.

The bit of persistence finally earned a laugh from Melinoe; her face darkening even more. She went to catch her breath when her face was grabbed. She looked at Esme with bright and shining eyes, giving a light giggle. "You could have just said something funny you goof." Melinoe watched as Esme went under water, and smiled as the woman wiped the water away from her face. She leaned then, moving herself so she leaned over Esme some, her hands resting on each side of Esme's head, holding onto the tub. "Hey...Will you go on a date with me sometime?"

Say something funny? What was the fun in that? Mel leaned over, putting her hands on the tub and making Esme put her back to the cool metal. She smiled with a soft chuckle, kissing Mel's nose softly.
"I'd love to Mel."
She held onto Mel's arms, rubbing them softly and making weird patterns in the wet hairs on her skin. Esme tucked her head under her Mel's chin, holding onto her warmly. She'd love to go on a date with Mel, it sounded lovely.

Melinoe smiled brightly at Esme, her eyes closing as her nose was kissed. They opened back up when Esme put her head under her chin. Se tilted her head to the side some to watch as she made patterns on her arms with a soft smile as she said lightly, "Thank you..."

"Don't thank me, I should be thanking you. You've made me happy again."
Esme's eyes closed, rubbing along Mel's shoulders and upper arms. With a smile she brushed her hair out of her eyes.
"I love you."
The crusnik smiled widely, holding onto Mel and sinking to her chin in the soothing water.

"Yeah, but...Look at all you've done for me." Melinoe looked seriously at Esme. "You accept me even though I'm a Monster, and you love me all the same." Her eyes closed some and she gave a light laugh. "Are we like Beauty and the Beast?" Melinoe leaned her head down some to press her lips gently against the bridge of Esme's nose. "I love you too."

Esme smiled softly as Mel went on to say how even thought she was a monster the artist loved her anyway. A soft chuckle came from her as Mel brought up Beauty and the Beast and she smiled with a nod.
"I suppose we are aren't we? That was always one of my favorite stories."
How you could love someone despite their outward appearance, to see past that into their very being, Esme thought it was beautiful.

Melinoe was silent for a few moments before shifting herself so she could look into Esme's eyes. "Hey...The older I get the more of my humanity I lose...When I'm just a crocodile...Will you still come see me?" It would probably be a rather long time from now, but Melinoe was still curious how Esme would feel about her as just the animal.

Mel lowered herself to look into Esme's dark purple eyes, asking if she'd still come see her when she lost her humanity. With a smile Esme leaned in to peck the other female's lips.
"Of course I will Mel, I promise I will even if you can't even take human form anymore. Even if you tear me apart I'll never hold it against you...I'd still love you."
Esme softly brushed the side of Mel's face, speaking with a firm, caring tone. She meant every word, even if Mel ended up eating her one day she'd love her, she'd love her from her place in the after life and never hold it against her. The crusnik smiled again, moving a piece of brown hair form Mel's face.

Melinoe smiled softly at Esme, but a tear formed in her eye. She quickly lifted one of her hands to wipe it away, giving a shy laugh. "That's a silly thing to cry over." It made Melinoe rather happy that Esme would still come see her when she was living in the wild as a simple crocodile. The words about being eaten somewhat upset the girl, but she knew they weren't meant to upset but rather comfort. "I think...It'd be a very long time for me to be able to cause you harm. I'd be SO old I'd have forgotten, and by then I'd probably have moved on to someplace where you wouldn't be able to find me."

"I know it would be a long time Mel, and so I'm not worried. For now everything is fine, you're still you and I'm going to be here even when you aren't."
She leaned up and kissed Mel deeply, smiling as she felt a few tears form in her own eyes. She laughed and dried them.
"I guess both of us are so happy it's over flowing huh?"

Melinoe returned the kiss and rested her forehead against Esme's. "I don't want to forget. Even if it is a long ways away." Her voice was rather soft as she spoke the truth to the woman below her. A soft smile slowly crossed over her lips. "Yeah, I guess we are."

Esme smiled softly, running her fingers through Mel's hair.
"I guess we kind of lost the purpose of getting in the tub huh?"
She laughed and leaned over to grab the soap, near dropping it in the water but managing to keep it in her grasp.
"You or me first?"

"Well, I figured we'd probably relax a bit while in here." Melinoe laughed softly at Esme's words. She reached out and took the soap from Esme, smiling softly and shifting so that she sat up straight and motioned for Esme to sit with her back to her. "I'll wash you first."

"Alright."
She sat up herself, turning in the water to have her back facing Mel. With a smile she held her arms up to place them on the edge of the tub, getting comfortable.
"I think your primary goal is working swimmingly, I am perfectly relaxed.'
Her eyes shut and she smiled, sighing contently.
